Horseback riding in Sacsayhumán
The tour of this magic circuit gives us a unique experience on a horse, it takes us from the archaeological center of Kusilluchayoc, the moon temple, X zone (Lanlacuyoc) and the devils balcony (Chacan) while we observe the beautiful landscapes that these places offer.
Itinerary
Day 1: Kusilluchayoc – The Moon Temple – Devils Balcony
Before we begin the tour our guide will visit you at the hotel to give you information about the tour and then our private transportation will take you to the ranch that is situated at Villa San Blas a bit outside the city of Cusco. Once we reach the ranch we will meet the horseman and the horses, the guide will give us a demonstration how to handle our horse and how to use the security equipment, the helmets, the first aid kit and others. After the demonstration we steer towards Kusilluchayoc, the Moon Temple, X Zone and at last the Devils Balcony, at each of these sites we will stop to listen to the guide. At Devils Balcony we pass through a natural cave formed thousands of years ago and which was used as a sacred place. Finally we return to the ranch where we say good bye to the horseman and the horses before taking out transportation back to our hotel in Cusco.
