Larco Museum and Archaeological Museum. In a single excursion, we will visit two beautiful colonial mansions that contain the most important collections of gold, ceramics, textiles and art of pre-Columbian Peru.

LARCO MUSEUM

Considered a must for all editors and travel specialists, and undoubtedly one of the best museums in Latin America. Located in a viceregal mansion from the 18th century, built on a pre-Columbian pyramid from the 7th century, the Larco Museum is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Its new galleries exhibit the best and most complete collection of gold and silver of pre-Columbian Peru in the world; as well as his famous erotic pottery collection.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ARCHEOLOGY AND HISTORY OF PERU

Located in a colonial house, former residence of Virreyes and Libertadores. Here the famous stone monuments of the formative period (1000 a.c.), the “Estela Raimondi” and the “Tello Obelisk” are preserved. In its diverse rooms the most important collections are presented from the pre-ceramic period to the Inca period.
