You have probably heard about the Vinicunca Mountain. However we need to inform you that there is another mountain range which is similar to it “The rainbow mountain range of Palccoyo” that gives you impressive view much like Vinicunca but it’s easier to reach with less effort and less time walking.
The Rainbow Mountain range of Palccoyo is little known and is located in the community of Palccoyo in the district of Checacupe at about 4900 m.a.s.l.
It’s an experience recommended to lovers of trekking and mystical tourism because of the impressive stone forest that you can visit.
From Palccoyo you can see the impressive Ausangate mountain.
Desde “la Cordillera Arcoíris de Palccoyo” se puede visualizar la impresionante montaña del Ausangate.
