Rafting on the Urubamba River 1D
Join us on this exciting full day adventure where we will feel the adrenaline while navigating on one of the most intense sections of the Urubamba River. We experience class II, III and IV rivers always with uttermost security and our experienced guide.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley
At 9:00 a.m. we depart towards the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (North of Cusco) where our guide will give us a safety introduction before we start our adventure. We transport ourselves in a raft for about 2.5 hours in the class II, III, IV and V streams, depending on which route we choose. We can flow on class II in Huambutio, Class III in Ollantaytambo (from December to May), Class III in Quiquijana and class III, IV and V in Chuquicahuana, the last one is difficult and for our safety we use a kayak and an additional guide. After lunch we return to Cusco where we will arrive around 5 p.m.
